So on SB, someone brought up this interesting bit.
As it turns out, SW has a Multiverse.

Now this is officially lisenced, the author just didn't get it published, but Lucasfilm did approve of him and self-publish it back in...the early 2000s?
Which I mean a SW Multiverse does make sense when you think about it, given the Infinities storylines(this already creates alternate universes), The Star Wars comic series and darkside game paths that one could take.
Just thought I'd share this interesting info.

It makes sense because like you said- there are various offshoot stories in Legends that don't really mesh with anything else. This helps explain those

No no no no no no no no no!
That's not how this works. Star Wars has always had a bit of weirdness to it: the devilsworld comics and unpublished "supernatural encounters" saw to that. The Roleplaying Game even added onto that (Look up Mgnall-Mgnall). The "Eckhart's Ladder" Youtube channel has made some videos about it too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1WeV5x5YbE
But it's not meant to be multiverse theory like several parallel universes with minor differences. The text even says "Each realm was connected to and derived from the Primary Universe, though some were vast and quite different in form and function." Each universe is completely different. Like the one which Waru comes from, it's got something called the "anti-force" and space obviously doesn't work the same way. One universe is described as having white space and black stars. Infinities and S-Canon scenarios are NOT different parallel universes. They can't make contact with one another, and they can't know about the existence of each other. Infinities and S-Canon scenarios are meta. They don't exist in-universe. Not even kind of.
I'm sorry for being so intense, I know you said "Just thought I'd share" but I wanted to kill these ideas before it they spread.

Yeah, but the infinities stories are not from "other universes." Those other universes are eldtrich and lovecraftian.

Star Wars has many universes but there's one "central continuity"
