Base Gogeta (hypothetical base form in DBS Broly) vs. Suppressed Jiren (chapter 109 and chapter 110)

Who wins?

Gogeta.

Base Gogeta stomps pretty badly. Jiren from 109 and 110 is weaker than end of ToP Blue Goku, and Base Gogeta is way beyond Broly arc SSJB Goku, who is stronger than end of ToP Blue Goku.

Jiren and Broly are hard to place relative to each other, because their power levels are so inhibited relative to other characters.


It seems to be a common belief that LSSJ Broly is > limiters off Jiren based on Goku's statement of comparing him to Beerus. But the fact is, Jiren also stalemated Belmond, who's power level isn't provably higher then Beerus's. Not based off the mini tournament in the manga, at least.


Even if it is, the differences are likely minor.




Either way, I can't see suppressed Jiren having any more success against base Gogeta then suppressed Broly did.

Jiren wins. He was massively stronger than ToP SSB Goku even while suppressed. Comments by Goku from the Broly movie and the Moro arc in the manga indicated that he hadn't made great strides bridging the gap between him and Jiren. Base Gogeta is stronger than SSB Goku and SSB Vegeta, but not to the extent that Jiren was.

Base Gogeta > post ToP SSB Goku/Vegeta >> Suppressed Jiren
