Which herald can match this feat. And yes this is absolutely a strength feat. Thor throws a planet sized ship etc https://i.postimg.cc/94KWWBHH/8-E9-C2-D85-8-FEF-4-BE7-9296-FF6-BB7-BCE25-D.jpg

DarkSaint85
Prove that it was a strength feat.

AlbertoJohnAvil
We get a shot of him spinning it as if he is preparing to throw it. Read the comic 🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️

DarkSaint85
And then when does he put the chain on it? Does he keep spinning the hammer as he attaches the chain?

Diesldude

StiltmanFTW
Night trasher, Prowler, Shroud, Jigsaw all replicate it with ease.

Adam Grimes
The dialogue says 'sent it flying' mmm.

However, this is the panel IMMEDIATELY before Albert's, where apparently we get a shot of him "preparing to throw it". Note the lack of chains.

Wasn't that a lesser hammer? Probably a little bit of both. Dialogue is weird as well, should've said he hurled it instead of sent it flying.

DarkSaint85
They were lesser than Mjolnir, that's true. But these ones were made by Odin. Does it make them special? Well, Odin thought so:

Adam Grimes
It sounds like he commanded the hammer to commit suicide. Is that your hero?

AlbertoJohnAvil
He HAD to throw the hammer to PULL the ship saint 🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️

DarkSaint85
No he didn't HAVE to.

The hammers can fly without being thrown.

https://i.postimg.cc/DwcgDYTr/RCO020-1582326858.jpg When he threw the hammer was off panel

DarkSaint85
And the fastening of the chains? Also off panel, of course.

So you have no proof that he threw it, and you're going off assumptions?

h1a8
The problem is that you have MAGICAL hammers that can fly under their own power.

AlbertoJohnAvil
When did they fly under their own power?

DarkSaint85
In that exact same issue.

Here's Odin sending all the hammers straight at Thor - and Thor doing the same thing back (WITHOUT laying a hand on every single hammer and physically having to throw them lmao - especially since he breaks them all up first into pieces with his lightning):

There is no chain. So your 'proof is a lie. Because there is obviously off panel stuff in between the two panels.

Next,in the very same storyline, Thor commands his hammers to fly (and even split up):
https://i.postimg.cc/FFBsb9kc/RCO008-1583387715.jpg

But wait, there's more proof lol that you are wrong. Let's assume that was a ....different, special hammer.

Here is Thor doing the EXACT same thing with his hammer, the one he uses to send the prison planet off:
https://i.postimg.cc/MpxTH9jr/RCO016-1582326858.jpg

Are you saying he THREW that hammer that was inside the black hole? That someone was in the black hole and throwing hammers? Lol.

Come back when you've read the comics. YEAH THATS summoning to his hand, I literally just EXPLAINED that lmao

Iirc he can't summon his axe. He even needed toothgnasher to fetch it for him.

Thori is the best character out of all Thor mythos...

celeyhyga17
Definitely a lot of his arm power involved... He provides the torque for his hammer throws, at least initially. The plot device is the easily obtained chain. Very silver agey.

So he is able to command his hammers to get off the ground and fly, without the need to throw them. Thanks.

I mean there's also the Loki scene where he attaches a green chain to a hammer, but that's ambiguous whether it's Loki or Thor commanding it.

So what do we know?

1. They are magic hammers
2. They can fly without needing to be thrown when Thor sends a mental command
3. There is an offpanel scene where Thor attached a chain and 'sent the hammer flying off'

What do we not know?
1. We don't see Thor throw the hammer. We assume he does, but we have no proof of this.
2. We assume that he can't command them to fly off, but we have no proof of this.

What cast iron proof do we have that this is a thrown hammer, and hence, a strength feat?

I thought it was very Superman-esqe...like where did he find planet sized chains laying around. Originally posted by StiltmanFTW

U should see how fast he(or should we say the writer stick out tongue ) finds chains or rope whenever he has to tie something to his hammer... Its comicbook magic at its finest.

So no proof it was a pure strength feat.

Though the speed is relatively slow, ITS still a showing of being able to make them fly around without throwing them.

Of finding chain/rope out of his @$$?
Two off the top of my head... He cahined a line of tanks. Found the chain god knows where in one panel and threw away.
He chained a plane after one panel and dragged the plane across tbe world. Not sure where he got a chain strong enuff for that haul. Awfully convenient.
Thers a bunch of others.

So, you cannot prove that it was a pure strength feat, thanks. As Thor is able to make his hammers fly without throwing them.

As for the thread, assuming the hammers are able to obey their wielder - Jarvis or Alfred can repeat the feat.

celeyhyga17
Those r summons. The hammers r flying back or flying to him, but taking detours(smacking around night elves).
