Many feel that CA is really more powerful than Surfer even in Atom's standard form, as Monarch in his most powerful form he definitely cleans house in this battle, but regular CA probably loses because his mortal mind doesn't allow him to tap deep enough into his power to win here.

If it's DCnU Atom, he can win... But he's still susceptible to energy-overload.

Isn't DCnU the one who was immune to magic?


Norrin's still able to casually ignite stars, move at multiples of light, and is considered one of the most powerful heralds in comics, if not THE most powerful (Barring Superman's cheesiest feats. And even there, Norrin's fought cosmic beings like Mephisto, Uni-Lord, Aegis and Tenebros)

CA wins pre or post flashpoint, he has feats suggest he's beyond surfer by a mile, even though this matchup is not ideal for him
