In the book Master&Apprentice, Qui-Gon stumbles upon some ancient Jedi prophecies that begin to haunt him-

"She who will be born to darkness will give birth to darkness."

"When the righteous lose the light, evil once dead shall return."

"Only through sacrifice of many Jedi will the Order cleanse the sin done to the nameless."

"The danger of the past is not past, but sleeps in an egg. When the egg cracks, it will threaten the entire galaxy."

"A chosen one shall come, born of no father, and through him will ultimate balance in the force be restored."

A few of them are obvious, but any ideas what they are all referring to now that Episode 9 has come and gone??

-The Jedi losing their way during the PT, and the Sith surfacing again.
-The Clone Wars/Order 66?
-Not sure. Maybe referring to Palpatine's resurrection -- the "egg" = the cloning vat?
-Anakin, even though the "balance" he brought to the Force didn't last long.

You could argue Anakin still helped keep the balance in check by helping Rey in her struggle against Palpatine

True, but you could also say that about every Jedi in history, as they all played a part in that struggle.
