616 Wolverine obviously ends this fool in a single swipe, while not even looking at him and DVP'ing Jean with Cyclops.


But what about Ultimate Logan, whose claws don't have as many feats and whose skeleton's got plenty of weak points?

Cage isn't strong enough to rip Wolverine in two. He also dealt with tougher opponents like Ult Hulk and Thing, and had received many blunt force blows and still okay. However, his weak joints might pose a problem but his healing factor will mend any blunt force impact delivered by Cage. For Wolverine's offensive side, he slashed through Ironman's armor and drew blood from Apocalypse so I'd go with Wolverine.

He's also cut a hole in Colossus' chest and stabbed both Grey Hulk (who, if anything, is only more impressive than his green version in the Ultimate Universe) and She-Hulk.

luke rips him in half.

Only if he manages to lay his hands on him.

Didn't this Wolverine get KOd by a grenade once and then taken out by machine gunfire? Or was that Ult Cap PIS power?

Yes, it happened. But Luke is not without his own low showings, keep that in mind.

And yes, it was pretty much Ult Cap's PIS power.

In Ultimate War he cheapshotted Logan, after he shocked him that he was aware of Logan's past.

As for Ultimate Nightmare (the grenade scene)? The whole X-Men team (Logan+Jean+Piotr) was put there by Ellis for one reason, just so they could job to the Ultimates.

He most definitely *can* take a Class 100+ punch and keep fighting, if that is what you're wondering about.

cage is strong enough. iirc, ult logan's cartilage is not covered/bonded with adamantium, soo its pretty easy for him.

but catching logan and pinning him long enough to do so is a different story.

ult logan wins this for me 7/10

Yeah, he *should* be strong enough. Good post.

It's just that much stronger guys performed such feat (Hulk, Colossus, Apoc), so we never got to see someone at Cage's strength level doing it.

Ult. Jennifer Walters was curious about Ult. Wolverine's joints... but we never got the precise answer. His skeleton arm somehow stayed interconnected after Magneto disintegrated the rest of him, for example.

That kind of shit makes me hate Ult Cap even more
If the writers intended to make him tough enough to tangle with high tiers they should give him feats which match it, yet he absolutely struggles to do anything above a 5 tonner.
And then getting into fights
He smacks around Hulk but gets no sold by Green Goblin
Punch catches Thor-lite Valkyrie but gets matched in strength by Spider-Man whose injured and exhausted
Takes hits from Abomination but gets beat up by a malnourished skinny pre-teen on super soldier serum
Outpaces silver surfer yet gets speed blitzed by the Red Skull
Knocks out an injured Juggernaut after getting beat up but struggles to put down Abdul (Arabic super soldier)
Matches America Chavez yet gets stomped by Nuke
In fact the only thing he consistently does is make high tiers look bad

But for his wankers everything is valid because hur dur he's superhuman.

Ultimate Cap has had some fine moments, but he was trying too hard to be badass.

Anyway, he never had a proper fight with Ultimate Wolverine.

One could argue he knew he couldn't take him in a fight --- that's why he cheated both times he encountered him.
