Inspired by the recent Leviathan thread-
Who is the most powerful character that is not associated with Marvel or DC? An Indie character.

Omnipotus from Image.
The Bedlam Spirits from Star Wars (EU).

If only I could draw that well...

He's not the most powerful, but Red Mage from 8-Bit Theater did have a spell capable of freezing the universe, Ice9. It also froze more treasure than actually exists, when cast into a bag of infinite holding.
Been a while since I read it, but I'm pretty sure the bag contained a larger than infinity dimension, as it could only be overloaded by storing things that don't actually exist. And it did have room for them for a while.
StiltmanFTW
Manga = comics, technically.
So, Zeno and Future Zeno deserve a mention, too.

Caught your edit
Yes, I was about to mention Hulk from Carververse

BrolyBlack
You mean this hulk?

The strongest there is.

Are there any characters more powerful than the Leviathan from Unwritten? If I understand the concept correctly, isn't the writer's intent for Leviathan to embody all of fiction?

Another inferior version of Superman. But still the most powerful clone yet.

/thread.
But I would say Gregory West from the Twilight Zone. I even made a post on VS Battles arguing for his omnipotence, but they didn't care, because that site sucks ass, so I'm posting it here.

If we including manga then Madoka Kaname(Goddess form) from Puella Magi Madoka Magica is worthy to be mentioned
Philosophía
carver, because he can make endless Universes that don't follow any kind of rational thought just by saying "hulk is hulk".
Even the one above all, Bada, cannot retcon him out of existence. Probably because carver has grabbed him by what Thanos calls "Regulators".
StiltmanFTW
^ You missed some recent Immortal Hulk issues, broski.
Now it's even worse.
"Hulk is Hulk is Hulk", 100% canon, from Banner's own mouth.
Philosophía
ewing probably got hulk is hulk texts on his phone daily from the phonedaddy until he cracked.
carver's omnipotence manifests itself subliminally
StiltmanFTW
The whole "Hulk is Hulk" thing is pretty common in Hulk comics, but Ewing decided to top that, so now we have Hulk (1) is Hulk (2) is Hulk (3) and I fully realize there will never be a greater comic book than that.
StiltmanFTW
Unless someones comes up with Hulk is Hulk is Hulk is Hulk.
Philosophía
Infinite recursion Hulk will be his final form at which point the universe collapses in on itself.

Leviathan is essentially Ultra Comics on an 'omni-fictional' scale. So yeah, it's obviously about as meta as a character can get.
But I mean, different writers are always going to have different takes on what the most powerful fictional character is. The writer of The Infinites, for example, believes that Vigil(the main protagonist of the series) is the most powerful being/concept in comics, period:

On KMC, Raz is the most powerful, but he barely has any appearances.
Wonder Man
The Last Unicorn.

He pretty much is, seeing sa Vigil is just "the main guy".
Extremely meta, as expected of the infinites

That moment when you're so metafictional others become metafictional by being based on your metafiction.
