The art style is interesting, and the graphics are nice, but the game play looks very by the numbers.

Visuals look nice. But, yeah, the gameplay looks incredibly clunky.

Could say the same about any Souls like game for that matter, Which this game seems to be going for.

And you would be 100% wrong. Souls games have slow methodical gameplay, but it's not clunky. Rather it's very precise. By contrast, this game seems to have delay between enemies being hit by the animations and actually being hit, certain animations where Wukang spins his staff around but it doesn't qualify as a hit, and other awkward things.

No, he's right. Compared to Ninja Gaiden Black or Dragon's Dogma. Souls style games play like tanks.
