If Superman is a living battery, who notably siphoned off Rampages excess power, the anti-sunlight of Mageddon, and even Omega energy from Apokolips fire pits, tell me:

Why wouldn't he be able to simply absorb "ki" energy?

Life energy should be easy to absorb, given his history.

He definitely got stronger. Schooling mystic gohan is a huge ft. I guess that puts him at ssj3 levels right?

Gohan dropped his guard and Piccolo used it to his advantage.

We see Gohan sparring with Super Saiyan Blue Goku afterwards, so it's still a very impressive feat.

DBS Piccolo also can spam the battlefield with his clones (which dissipate after getting hit once, but still). He's full of surprises.

I guess I just need more convincing that piccolo can trade fisticuffs with supes. His strength and durability are waaay higher imo. Frost was able to hurt piccolo with mere finger blasts. Supes hv could decapitate piccolo. Idk..

This should be proof enough. Gohan one punched killed Cell Juniors, Piccolo is far powerful than this Gohan. The same Gohan that had enough power, he was able to stalemate a solar system destroying blast that wad getting far more powerful by the second.

Superman is fast when it comes to DC and Marvel comics but no one and I mean no one fight like DBZ characters when it comes to burst speeds.

He doesn't need to trade fisticuffs with him. He's a smart fighter with numerous techniques and abilities at his disposal, not a brawler.

He has overpowered SSJ2 Gohan, though, so there's that.
