Who wins?

i can't honestly recall any tp resist feats for bm.... without at least one really good one, not sure he has any chance here. he's got some willpower, for sure. i could maybe see him struggle, but without direct tp resist? cable's just too much here. even just using his tk cable could win i think, but it would be a lot closer.

He's got none, certainly not on the level of God Cable.

The Deathwalker guy had a tp of sorts via liquid in bodies. I think that should count no? Definitely not god cable level, but surely he had some kind of mental power.

He spoke to the water in their bodies, but that was it - BM just shot light out of his eyes (so not water - you can see his body was still frozen in place). I mean....as Leo said, it's *something*, but without any limits (would Doom/Batman be able to do the same thing? Spectrum? Cyclops?) and with the ambiguity of the entire thing (we can't even say that he resisted anything for certain), let alone against Cable, let alone against GOD Cable....

Cable probably wins, at least for now. It probably wouldn't come by way of TK assault, but the TP is where Cable likely has the the advantage to pull the win. I have yet to see Adam resist TP assault.

He enslaves you through the liquid in your body. He's not simply just controlling the liquid. Hence why I likened it very much to tp. It's like a magic based quasi tp and had a mental aspect to it.

Lichidus froze the two humies along with Blade and the werebear lady. At that point they were his slaves and seemed completely under his thrall. Only BM was seen actively resisting. To say he wasn't resisting anything kinda rings false.

sure, and I know you want to have something for BM, but that guy had zero feats, and you can't even say the others weren't resisting - because in the scan where you show Blade and normal humans not resisting, you can also see BM not resisting .

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough. We can't say he was MEANINGFULLY resisting for certain, if that's what you want me to say. Straining his neck muscles is probably a nice visual, but he literally wasn't lifting a finger.

And even if he did....and? Would we place that guy up against TK characters? Where would he be in the hierarchy? We don't even know if off panel Blade and the two 'humies' weren't also doing the same.

You and Leo said he doesnt have any tp resist feats. Im simply counting this as one based on how it works. Thats it. Im not arguing any strawman with cable's tp level or anything of that sort. In fact ive already acknowledged cable's power with leo.

As for the scene ure talking about, he was obviously caught in the attack. He was then seen actively resisting posession. Simple. We dont know about the other people because there is no proof of them resisting posession. Burden is on u.
BM being able to attack the guy who's supposed to have dominion over him means there's no resistance?

Because his attack wasn't based on any actual movement. He was allowed to open his eyes, and he blasted light at him.

But he was still unable to even lift a pinky.

Had the guy not told him to open his eyes, or had stood behind him, the onus is actually on you to prove that he could have done ...well, anything.

If anything, anyway, that water control was more akin to TK or Meta's hydrokinesis...not TP.

Lich takes possesion of somebody through the liquid in your body. BM attacked his so called possesor. You can say it gave him a less difficult avenue for attack when bm opened his eyes, but that simple fact alone shows resistance. It means lich was not able to completely possess bm. This leads us to resistsnce. There was obviously some level of resistance from bm.
And looking at it again, BM was the only who lich cared to come up to. In fact he's the only one shown closing their eyes and showing signs of outward resistance.

Again it's obvious there is some level of mental command and not just controlling the water in one's body. He literally takes possession of his targets.

But it also takes control of their minds. What the phuch does it matter in which way a TP specialist takes control of minds? Imagine if there were 5 TP specialists, but none of them had the same power type of TP. That doesn't show that some are mind controllers and some aren't. For example, 1 controls the mind like Xaxier, 1 controls the mind like Despero, 1 controls the mind like Lich, 1 controls the mind by using oxygen molecules, and 1 controls the mind due to having bitten the victim gaining blood control.

They are all controlling the mind.
