Trident and No Trident for all.

1. Post crisis.
2. New 52.
3. Rebirth.
4. Amalgamation of both versions with all feats since the post crisis era.

Aquaman has come out on top against Superman (and other Superman-level characters) on land. under water, Superman would stand no chance whatsoever if Aquaman didn’t hold back.

characters Aquaman has matched or defeated in physical fights on land include:

Martian Manhunter
Wonder Woman
Gorilla Grodd
Guy Gardner
Lobo
Orm
Superman

Superman boils all of the water in the planet cooking Aquaman and every person he loves.

Aquaman and Superman are tiers apart anywhere.

One's skin bleeds from bullets. And without Wonder Woman's bullshit magic excuse for piercing weakness.

Superman could literally kill Arthur by charging at him at relativistic speeds with an outstretched index finger. That's way faster than a bullet, with a similar surface area of impact, but with 220 lbs of weight behind it.

If Aquaman was the only hero on Earth and he needed to stop a meteor so large that it would wipe the earth's surface and boil the oceans, he would literally be helpless. He could do nothing but sit there and die with everything else on Earth.

On the other hand even DOS Era Supes would survive something like that.

The difference between them physically is like the difference between Thing and most versions of Hulk. Countless multiples realistically that usually won't be portrayed accurately in comics.becuz plot n shit.

Science, you mean:

Doomsday is just weakass, unlike what Phil wanted you to believe.

CosmicComet
That's been updated in recent years by smarter writers who understand the pressure = force/area equation better than 5 year olds do.

It's some weird magical weakness.

StiltmanFTW
No, it's just her being a soft pussy.

StiltmanFTW
I've assaulted enough women to know their skin is soft.

I have done my research, ffs. Don't you dare arguing with me on that matter.

CosmicComet
I won't argue. I believe you 100%

welcome to the famiglia

Superman eats him.

Anyone seriously saying aquaman would legit beat Supes is delusional at best. This thread is silly. There is such a difference between the two that this thread is pretty much straight up spite. Water or no water.

carver9
Superman stomps.

Wow.

StiltmanFTW
I think Cosmic was still taking it easy on you, Pr.

DarkSaint85
I agreed with most of it, apart from the bit about Batman not being a herald.

-Pr-
Yeah, well, you're both wrong.

StiltmanFTW
Which part of Cosmic's post you have a problem with, exactly?

DarkSaint85
Batman not being a herald, obv thumb up

So did I lowball Aquaman by calling him a billion+ tonner that can react at lightning+ speeds?

It appears as though you have bamboozled me. I yield.

See Pr, every time I try to get Aquaman some reputation this happens.

It's like supporting Hulk and then seeing carver post.

The moon. 75 "MILLION" tons. LOL.

Get your damn sources right.

I'll respond later

DarkSaint85
What if Supes was also a composite of Pre Crisis to Modern Age?

Edit: also, 7.3e22kg is...not 73million tons. That's like the Three Gorges Dam, lol.

Based on your sources, you've just proven the Moon is almost 2x a tectonic plate......

The whole EARTH itself only has a mass of 6 sextillion tons lol.

Divide that by 81 and you have the moon's mass.

DarkSaint85
I think EG got carried away with kgs and tons?

Source for where you guys are getting the 6 sextillion from. Cause my source claims it weighs more.

Nasa.

And if Nasa are wrong....

(also, DC literally spell it out for you there lol).

As I said, I think you got carried away and mixed up kgs and tons. 1 ton = 1000 kg.

CosmicComet
I hate metric tons! Who would go with 2200 lbs as opposed to the nice round 2000 lbs of the good ol imperial/short ton.

Superman is an American goddammit!

DarkSaint85
Yes but the scientist talking to him uses actual science thumb up

Abhi's war elephant would break Aquaman's trident like a toothpick.

Much like Slade did.

Lmao. This thread is win.

I was literally about to post "ugh, another thread Superman gets dragged in to without needing to" then I looked at the title. Carry on.

Superman wins, though. Lowballing or not, Arthur just doesn't have the means to reliably put him down.

Was Superman Year One canon? I ask, because not even Poseidon could defeat Superman and he was a young adult at that time.

So what's the point of comparison of their strength?

It was in reference to the user bringing up Wonder Woman helping to move the Moon. It had no barring to Superman at all.

Poseidon oneshotted Superman with lightning.

StiltmanFTW

DarkSaint85
It's the nature of his character. Him and Batman.

One has to be relevant to work in the DCU - and the other needs the entire DCU to be relevant for him to work.
