Does anyone still try to use VHS even though it can have major problems like tape deterioration, mould damage, tape slippage and a lack of VHS players.
I know these days people prefer streaming, DVD, Blu-ray including MP4 files to watch movies and TV shows.

I guess it depends on hos the tape was cared for...
I have cassettes from 1970 that still are thankfully in excellent shape......
People are the reason these things failed sooner......

Just keep your tapes in a sealed plastic box in a cool dry place like a storage place. #commonsense
