Scenario 1: Batman and Robin fight Apocalypse in a random encounter in a deserted Gotham city. There is no prep, but Batman and Robin have full knowledge of Apocalypse's powers and character history, while Apoc knows nothing about his opponents.
Scenario 2: Same as above except that the Bats have one hour to prepare before the battle in the Batcave, using standard stuff from the cave.
