For one year.

I collected maybe a good 60% of Zen Pinball tables on FX3, ranging across the library including Core collection originals, licensed stuff like Aliens and Bethesda (DOOM IS THE TRUE ALIEN CRUSH SEQUEL!), and about three Williams packs (Attack from Mars and Medieval Madness are must owns on any pinball enthusiasts list).

I spent a lot on their tables. And I think I'm done.

Goodbye sales on packs. Hello overpriced originals, convoluted "in game currency" systems, and perpetual subscriptions.

First you kill the used game market, then you get people used to overpriced dlc of features that used to be included, and finally you go all digital with a subscription service.

That's the present folks, and the future. And I will hoard what I can and tap out. No subscription for me.

The subscription part especially bothers me. I always had a feeling the gaming industry in general wanted to do away with one and done purchasing and put a Netflix like subscription service in its place, to ensure a constant stream of money.
