That hits the nail on the head.

I think Conservatives are also more prone to dogmatism and rigid thinking. Which makes sense considering the more devoutly religious tend to be Right-leaning.

Conservatives are less open minded and stubborn, if anything.

Nah, they'll buy into any idea if racism is used. Look at Pro brexit posters.
