Who is tougher to take down in their respective universes based on their fights?

DarkSaint85
Superboy, just because he has fewer showings and thus fewer low showings.
Edit: though the argument can then be made that proportionally, SBP has worse showings.

Prime of course. He was already beyond Thanos beginning from Infinite Crisis.

Power scaling was off in one issue out of dozens where Darkest Knight beat the shit out of everyone rather than Prime is just that powerful.

Because why not.

Impeccable
Prime.

Thanos is overrated.

Because Prime is a plot device.

what kind of stupid shit is this SBP definitely thwarted Darkest Knight's plans to replace the DC multiverse with a Dark 52 version while in its "baby/empty worlds" state, and SBP certainly seemed to be affecting the Darkest Knight with his retcon punches.

But whether it was because of SBP's pure strength or special retcon punching power is up for debate. I'd argue it's the latter because: (i) SBP didn't splatter Wonder Woman when he punched her, and (ii) SBP didn't retcon punch any of the dark multiverse versions of Supermen.

Furthermore, it's far-fetched to characterize SBP as "beating" Darkest Knight, given that: (a) SBP fought Darkest Knight after Darkest Knight had fought Perpetua, (b) Darkest Knight outright stated that he could not be beaten by SBP even when toppled, (c) SBP basically died after his final retcon punch and Darkest Knight did not die, and (d) Darkest Knight appeared no worse for the wear after his fight with SBP and went on to fight Anti-Crisis amped Wonder Woman.

So, yes, SBP fought Darkest Knight. But a closer reading of the comics reveals that it seemed to be due to special plot device powers rather than natural attributes and he surely didn't "beat" Darkest Knight.

laughing out loud

SBP had Darkest Knight on his knees who stated that he can't beat him but he didn't beat him.

Marvel fans are just retarded.

Prime had the opportunity to take the power from him and chose not to.

Thanos's best fights are Odin and Tyrant.

Odin pretty thoroughly thrashed him, while Tyrant pretty solidly held the upper hand in spite of an amp.

On the low end, a depowered Galactus one shot him. That might not seem very low, but Countdown Monarch would atomize that Galactus, while SBP at the tail end of his Guardian amp survived the Universe ravaging wave from Monarch.

General power level wise, Thanos has fewer lows, but his highs pale.

So if SBP wanted to be selfless by rejecting the usurpation of his power to defeat Darkest Knight straight-up... why didn't that result happen? Cuz SBP kinda just died after punching him and Darkest Knight was basically fine and went on to fight Anti-Crisis amped Wonder Woman, after all...

And if SBP could take his power to begin with, why didn't SBP just redirect all the Crisis energy into himself instead of the Mobius Chair?

Let's face it, the story isn't exactly consistent. So trying to focus on one character's statement while ignoring the rest of the context isn't exactly reliable.

Anyway you slice it, Darkest Knight fight craps all over Dionne.
