When it comes to intelligence departments, they should vet every single person down to their daily routines and do yearly reviews. Obviously their private info should be kept private. While some servers definitely are Right-wing cesspools, Discord itself isn't inherently Right or Left. I use Discord frequently (as it's super convenient for quickly connecting with friends in other countries) and am active on a dozen or so servers, and the vast majority of the people on the servers I use lean strongly to the Left and many of those servers are, in fact, safe spaces for marginalised communities.
