They get blitzed and hit with an attack that turns each of them to dust. Saitama isn't needed tbh and Goku doesn't even need to go Super Saiyan.

That's just your hopes and dreams flying aimlessly around Stilts force field of debauchery Carver.

What are Goku and Saitama"s resistances to the level of telepathy and other exotic powers that Darkseid and Thanos bring? Why couldn't Thanos turn Goku into a cube of salt after he blows his mind?

ODG
^ If you want truly constructive discussion, you're better served by citing to Darkseid/Thanos' best telepathic feats. And beyond that, show us where Thanos transmutes a foe into a cube of salt.

In Thanos volume 1 I believe. It's been a while so I don't know which issue, but it's tied into the Tyrant saga.

I'm asking what are their collective resistance feats, as it shouldn't be too murky as to when Thanos used telepathy last.

In character, Darkseid and Thanos prefer to spectate rather than engage physically. In a physical confrontation, Saitama likely hits harder than everyone on the field he has full blown toon force strength, but the Omega beams can send him packing. Being enthralled by Thanos on one hand would allow for Darkseid to send Goku packing as well.

The tech edge goes to Darkseid and Thanos without a doubt. They take a huge edge in intelligence. Their damage soak is ridiculous. Imo it would be a huge upset if Darkseid and Thanos lost to these two dim wits.

I'm not sure if it would be enough, but it imay be worth considering.

Thanos won't even get a chance to use his telepathy. Goku blitzes him as soon as the bell ring and either punching him to dust or blasting him to dust. Goku is TIERS above Thanos and Darkseid. A lot of tiers.

StiltmanFTW
Is Thanos still the Prime Eternal, btw?

Stoic
I'm not certain? I wasn't completely sure if it was going to be treated as a one show event and then forget, or if he was to remain as Prime?

DarkSaint85
No, they had another election iirc.

Those hentai guys are far too fast for them.
Might as well have flash fight them with the added abilities

It's actually very fair to ask what Thanos & Darkseid's offensive tp feats are before demanding tp defense feats. You've declared they have some amorphous level of offensive tp and that really doesn't lend itself to constructive discussion.

That's it!

As for offensive TP, how about the Great Darkness Saga?

ODG
^ I've always treated that as an alternate timeline story.

MrMind
well good for you, you're wrong

ODG
^ Sure, because a story occurring in the 30th century should be treated as canon to the current Darkseid.

srsly

Parmaniac
in a thousand years we will quote you on this, then what huh?

MrMind
future being alternate timeline only works in marvel

ODG
^ There are countless alternate futures in DC. They cannot all be canon. And acting like one of them is canon... when the present, let alone the future, is retconned over and over again, is self-serving nonsense.

There's nothing stopping you from starting a 616 Thanos and GDS Darkseid vs Saitama & Goku thread.

MrMind
never said it's canon, it's just not automatically assumed a possible future is a alternate timeline in dc

that only works in marvel

MrMind
are you implying im deathstroke?

ODG
^ I'm implying that you endorse pedophilia. Feel free to reject such notions completely in an unironic way just so we're on the same page.

Saitama is so powerful that even with Infinity Gauntlet and whatnot I still got Saitama. His power isn't infinite but it vastly eclipses anything most "sane" characters can do. I personally don't think Goku can beat peak Thanos even with the DBS stuff but I won't contest anyone saying otherwise because Saitama is too broken
