Forgive me if there is already a thread for this, but I couldn't find it...

I saw some images before I saw the trailer and the Predator picture is a little unintentionally funny with is "ugly MFer" face, but the trailer is actually pretty cool. This looks like it could be more interesting than Prey.

I like that they're moving away from the traditional look and tech established in the previous movies.

I also like the cinematography of Prey and this trailer.

Patient_Leech
Yeah, I think it has potential for expanding Predator world (universe?) building.

I suspect she is a Weyland-Yutani android?

I know this director and the Alien Romulus director have teased the idea of doing a crossover film together.

Looking forward to it

all i've seen online today are people bitching about the look of the predator, Using the 'massacred my boy' meme. Its suppose to be a younger pred/Yautja anyway.

Here's a revelation for ya, They've all been different. Yes i know the OG look is still the best one, But at least they're attempting to do different styles and looks over the years.

Been seeing theories the pred for this movie could be a young Broken Tusk, Broken Tusk appeared in the original AVP comic.

^ What's the difference? It looks like the same teaser to me.

This badboy pred should team up with Hulk's fratboy son from She-Hulk and go on dudedro adventures and stuff.

I heard the predator in this is gay and disabled and identifies as a xenomorph.

Oh, man. That makes sense... as far as the tie-in for the next AvP movie.

Rumor has it that the Alien: Romulus sequel will have a Predator in it to help lead into the AvP film that Fede and Trachtenberg have teased they would co-direct.

Yeah, if Fede involves a Predator in the next Alien film I think it will probably be relatively subtle. I don't see it being a big thing. But this seems to have a Weyland-Yutani synthetic as a pretty big element, so who knows.

And yes, I think that's why I'm curious to see how this is Predator film is, because it could influence future Alien/Engineer crossover ideas. My ideal wet dream would have been for a Prometheus sequel to be largely from the vantage point of an Engineer, like this film is for a Predator. Covenant was a terrible failure of imagination.
