Here are a few of mine.
Tin Cup (golf)
Bull Durham (Baseball)
Rudy (Football)
Slapshot (Hockey)
Not really sure about basketball. I'll have to give that some thought.
I wasn't really sure about football either. I was torn between Rudy and Varsity Blues. Also, I liked Field of Dreams, but I din't want to have 3 Kevin Costner films in there. I might start sounding like a fan.
I'm sure I overlooked a bunch so feel free to post your thoughts.
Fire
Any Given F*cking Sunday
chico23
I usually like whatever Oliver Stone does, but Any Given Sunday didn't connect with me. I thought the actually game parts were good and filmed terrific, but the story was lacking and seemed to go on for days and days.
Omegaman
Hoosiers for Basketball or One on One with Robby Benson, good movie even if he was in it!
Everybody's All AMerican(football)
61* (baseball)
Remember the Titans(football)
North Dallas Forty(football)

stylez777
Ton's of good sport movies out their, mt top few are :
Rocky / Raging Bull (Boxing)
Blue Chip / Hoosiers (Basketball)
The Natural / Pride of the Yankees / Fear Strikes Out (baseball)
Rudy / The Program (football)
Kingpin (bowling)
The Hustler (pool)
Jim Thorpe all-american (universal sports)
Ok so the last 2 may technically not be a sport persay........Oh ya and if anyone hasn't seen "Fear Strikes Out" it is a great flick made back in 1957, but it has an awsome/true story behind it, same goes for Jim thorpe all-american.....
KidRock
the replacements is hilarious i definetly reccomend it

Godshinto
I would have to say "Any Given Sunday" great movie. RollerBall is a good movie also although I don't think it could be classafied as a sports movie.
ChinaNiki
I used to like American Anthem even though the gymnastics in the movie would never have been considered world class at the time. Well, maybe Mitch Gaylord's stuff, but he wasthe only Olympic athelete in the movie.

bluegrass
A paintball movie!!!! I bow down to your knowledge.
Although, a couple weeks ago a friend and I were talking about the movie called "Gotcha". It was a paintball movie, sort of. Do you remember Gotcha guns? They were the original over the counter paintball gun but they were cheap and only shot about 15 ft. I never saw the movie but my friend did and said it was definitely one of the worst he has ever seen. Of course, I want to see it now! I love cheesy movies. Not as much as good movies, but they just crack me up.
Thomas H
is there a paintball movie...my god..there are a lot of loosers in this world....the actors in that movie...got to be desperat!
Godshinto
the movie was corny......low budget........no name actors...and only aired in select theaters. It probably wasn't more entertaining then "Gotcha." The only reason I watched the movie Speedball is because I own a Paintball feild indoor arena and we had a special showing of the movie, someone payed we delivered.
bluegrass
Godshinto- Played paintball for the first time about a month ago and had a blast!!! The bruises didn't go away for over a week!!!! Would definitely recommend it though. Sorry-off topic.

Kes- I think that bicycling movie with Kevin Costner was American Flyers. That reminds me of another biking movie called "Breaking Away" and I think Dennis Quaid is in that one.
Godshinto
I know the movie you are talking about Kes but I couldn't think of the title it's about him and his brother going out for one more race before David get's any sicker from his cerebral tumor. And it is "American Flyers" (1985)
Kes
Thanks guys I think thats the name.
chico23
for the "Gothcha" movie I think the actor was Scott Baio (sp?) from Happy days...what sad is I have seen it.
bluegrass

Any fans of "The Program"?
botankus
As far as recent football movies go (within the last 10 years), I really like The Program. I didn't care too much for Any Given Sunday though it had its moments.
Remember the Titans, though I detest the Tennessee Titans, was good though. When my team (Steelers) played the Titans the last few years, I liked to precede the battle with "Dismember the Titans."
