Crash Davis vesus Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn
OK folks, same storyline as "Major League." The Yankees and Indians, tied during the regular season, are playing a one game playoff to see who advances to the ALCS. The game is at Yankee stadium.
The Indians have the game at 3 with Cerrano's two run blast in the seventh inning. It's the bottom of the ninth, two outs, bases loaded. Vaughn is on the mound, trying to keep the game tied so that it goes to extra innings.
The batter? Crash Davis from "Bull Durham." He and Vaughn have never faced each other before.
So, does Crash win the game, or does the Wild Thing strike him out?
