Cap took Mjolnir and Thor was sent flying backward.. so doubtful any blows from Nite Owl will be effective..
besides Cap throws the shield towards the goalpost which ricochets off of it and KO's Nite Owl upside the head for the KO
to make this interesting and funny Nite Owl puts a bounty on Cap by hiring former Texan LB Mario Williams to try to take him out for a few extra dollars.. Cap sees this and as Williams attempts to sack Cap, Cap then leapfrogs over him and whacks him upside the head, thus cracking Mario's helmet and rendering him unconscious.. Nite Owl seeing this begs Roger Goodell to let the former Saints(both current and former) who have been fined and suspended to try stop Cap from giving him a beatdown..
I think Nite Owl definitely has the skill advantage as far as martial arts go. However, stat-wise Cap should be well above him but not quite on Veidt's level.
Captain America has insane durability in the film as well. He was blasted by one of the Chitauri rifles, was blasted out of what looked to be atleast a 3-story building, took hits from an Asgardian, etc. Not to mention that Cap is alot more agile than Dan is ever depicted to be.
I think Nite Owl is closer to the level of Black Widow than Captain America. Give Cap the shield and Dan doesn't really stand that much of a chance.

to be more accurate, Cap's shield took Mjolnir... Cap's stats had very little to do with it. Given the overwhelming gap in skill, it's not unreasonable to assume Daniel could separate Cap from his shield.
it's a moot point tho, 'cause Cap can take Daniel's hits.

huh? are you confusing Daniel for Ozy? Daniel's stats are human level, he knows martial arts and when he punches someone they feel it and go down in a normal fashion... when Cap punches someone, they go flying 20 feet.
Really? Did you not see the prison scene or the alley fight with the Top Knots. He's obviously above Batman's stats(maybe not quite Rogers' level) and alot more skilled in fighting than Captain America.
