I'd say Dooku's ability in the Force far outweighs the mesmerism that Galadriel possesses, not to mention Force Choke, Push, etc. What we shall have is one dead elf.

Galadriel has very few, and very relatively unimpressive feats in the movies.
Dooku could walk up to her and beat her down physically.
