Yes. Sending that one down the rift would have been a very much END GAME type of scenario.

Well, its kind of one sided. Heisei Godzilla weighs more than all of the kaiju and Jaeger's that appeared in PR combined. He also has an insane healing factor and a beam weapon that will one shot everyone here except maybe slattern and that is debatable. Godzilla started this gangster shit.

Oh, and Final Wars, Burning, heisei/mellinium, and showa godzilla in that order. Actually a case can be made showa would lose, but since he knows karate and has human level intelligence I give him a majority over most of them one on one. The rest would dominate the entire cast of Pacific Rim in under 20,minutes at most.

Honestly, I doubt it. It would be fun but I doubt either director or producer would want to take that route. It would be fun though. I thought Pacific Rim was fun despite the plot being a bit sub par. If Godzilla does not do well in theaters next month there probably won't even be a pacific rim 2. Kaiju and high budget giant monster movies in general are waiting to see how Godzilla does right now. He is the most recognizable monster in history and if it does poorly a lot of movienstudios are probably going to pull the plug on the genre. At least for the next several years or so.

Bryan Cranston? Yeah, I am all for good actors but in the case of these movies. People go for Godzilla, plain and simple.

Yea I just hope Godzilla following and people who were mad followers of BB say go to see him together, then the popularity could grow. This Godzilla really looks amazing. Combination of the past of film making with the present of what we expect to see in a movie like this. I really hope he lives too as well as Godzilla.

The human element usually has been weak in these sort of films

just go check out alot of those Godzilla verses movies, But i felt with Pacific Rim they tried to make it at least decent.

Showa's puny compared to PR kaiju, and it's fire breath is weak.

Heisei Godzilla is pretty much a cat 4 physically, plus the spiral ray effectively makes him a cat 5 in threat I'd say. Burning, of course, even more-so.

Final Wars is.... beyond the Cat system, it'd overwhelm them easily.
