Voice manipulation

Do you think a male or a female voice is more useful for making a recording, for instance, of a book where it is necessary to reproduce a whole range of voices?

My dad thinks that a man's voice is more flexible as he can imitate a woman or child simply by doing a falsetto whereas a woman can't do a low voice.

Do you agree?

and I have trouble doing a female voice sad

but I can do this really good hissing voice, as well as the Pee Wee Herman voice big grin
