Any of you watch Full Metal Alchemist?

SpellJammer knows PVS is going to have a field day with this, but screw him..

If you don't, you seriously should. Though the moral (or lack thereoff..) of the story is obviously liberal, the plot holds true to our current situation..

The Military:
The militart of FMA reminds SpellJammer in alot of ways of the U.S. Military/Bush Administration. Everyone around the world calls them cold-blooded dogs who are relentless in the pursuit for power. But when you look at each character in the military you notice most of them are good, wholesome people. Sure there's a few bad seeds, and some you just don't know HOW to feel about, but those amongst the military who do have a good heart feel the same way about them you do.

President Bush/The Full Metal President:
This may be sortof a stretch. But President Bush would be like The Full Metal Alchemist. He didn't know how deep the rabbit hole would go, he had no idea things were this grim and confusing. He simply knew what he wanted in life and went for it. Replace "The Philsophers Stone" with "Weapons of Mass Destruction". Bush like Ed has done alot of things he shouldn't have, but tries everyday to makeup for it. His arms and leg may be made of steel, but not his heart..

Scar/The Terrorists???
Notice how the military's primary objective is to capture Scar. Just as our primary objective is the war on terror. Scar can somewhat be sympathized for, but he is so destructive and psychotic that given half the chance you'd know you'd put a bullet through his head. Just to insure he didn't turn you into a puddle of flesh..

The Media/The Homunculi:
Just as dangerous, just as sinister, and just as much in control. It seems the homuculi throughout the series are pulling the strings under everybody's noses. Yet nobody trusts them. They have thier own agendas and unfourtanatly, many of us could be in harm's way of thier agendas are fufilled. Question a media/homunculi, they rarely are to your best interest..

Liberals/The World:
Pretty broad assumption there. But liberals are like the townsfolk of this series. Ignorant, niave, yet quick to pass judgement on the military and how things are really going down. It's not entirely thier fault, bad stuff happens, and they're trying to make sense out of it. But they have no idea of what's really going on, and even if they did they'd probably wouldn't want too, cause then that would mean everything they believe is a lie, and everything they try to accomplish would be only thier undoing..

This really isn't to take a stab at liberals or conservatives, it's just merely an observation SpellJammer made and he wants to see if you agree with him even the slightest..

Yeah know I have seen it on adult swim and all I can really say about the views on either democrat or republican or liberal or conservative is that I feel that good bad indifferent those are all subjective.......but motive is the driving force.

Well, for him to make a fathomable comment he needs to watch the show. Which I doubt he does

The ironic twist is alchemy could be another way of saying witchcraft. Assuming we get a right enough wing goverment to acknowledge spellcasting as a science..

Uh, the amount of "not happening" that the above has is...a lot.

Interesting. See, Spelljammer makes sense at times.

But you've got to love people who post stuff like "lost interest" or say "too long didn't read". It just shows they...I'm not sure what it shows, actually. I think they are attempting to insult you, but they suck at it.
