That's not the real reason.

The women in Stringer's family are greedy and it is hard to pull the truffles from their snout!

I watched the vid. Interesting stuff.

I watched a similar vid about 10 years ago about the global warming stuff causing the loss or truffles. Not sure how true that is but it's apparently happening.

I am not a truffles person. But many are.
