The Eternal Soap Opera which is my Life!

I have hassle and need sympathy!!! first of all, my computer is old and slow, so i will start throwing things at it in a minute, so bear with me while i type, cos its completly pantsing itself!

Ok, so this starts about two years ago. I meet a guy in my GCSE English class, really nice and funny, we get on great. We become best mates, and he joins my circle of friends. this guy, being nice, funny, sensitive, sympathetic and GORGEOUS, i, of course, get a crush on. I have total crush, and everyone knows INCLUDING him! we flirt constantly, but we never ask each other out, cos im scared he'll say no and he has his own reason (which I found out later). The reason was that he fancied one of my friends MORE than me! This friend, steph, was always asking me what on earth i saw in him. then, she starts to fancie him, asks him out, they start going out AND DONT EVEN TELL ME!! They, apparently, didnt want to hurt my feelings. yeh, well, it hurt a LOT more finding out from some random girl i didnt even know!!!! theyd been going out for A MONTH and HADNT TOLD ME!!!

*cries*

ok, so we carry on as best friends, steph gets jealous, and tells him HE's NOT ALLOWED TO SEE ME ANYMORE!!!

*cries violently*

she doesnt really even like him, she's always fancying other guys and expects me to get ther numbers for her!!!

Then, me and ali would still go out places together, but then she got REALLY jealous, and then i couldnt see him unless she was with us!!!!

*continues hysterical crying*

It can be difficult, that whole 'telling people' thing... but yes, you are right, it hurt more for you to find out the way you did. I can give you the advice people keep giving me, which is to give things time and the horribleness will ease a little, but I can also offer hugs and stuff in the meanwhile! And at least it isn;t as complex and twisty as my little story, huh?

Then, finally i convinced her i dont fancie him anymore, and i get over him, we all have less hassle. then she falls for one of my other best friends, bullies me into getting HIS number, ali knows, but WONT dump her, more hassle!

finally, they have a great big argument and break up, so my luck that now they are single i dont fancy him anymore, she still expects him to buy her a bday pressie this week, he is bitter cos she dumped him for being 'unreasonable' (come on!! she'd just flirtedwith some guy in full view of him!!!) ,they were sposd to be going to the prom together, we're all on the same table, i'll be between the two, if i talk to ali steph will be all 'you dont waste time, do you', if i talk to steph ali will be all 'but she was so cruel to me', steph will be flirting with every available guy (this is our first 'pulling night' since they broke up), ali will be trying to make her jealous by flirting with me, if i turn him down he'll be depressed and grumpy, if i dont he'll get the wrong idea, we will DEFINITELY having a blazing row between at least two of us tomoro nite, the HASSLE IS BUILDING UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And now relax... the more you stress about it, the worse it will be at the time. You cannot change what is coming so just prepare to do the best you can and try and enjoy yourself.

Two of my friends broke up one time (very harshly), and went to he prom together and had a great time. Just remember GO to the prom to have fun with your date. They will deal with each other however they see fit, and you will enjoy your prom.
