Help downloading a file from MMS... techy needed.

Help downloading a file from MMS... techy needed.

Any tech experts know how I can download this file?

mms://wss-core.mimg.xc.advection.net/nas/003/wmsclients/mimg/boston/necn/082104_badwx_10p.wmv

It's a video that I wanna save, weather report from our town. Yeah yeah, shut up, I want it stick out tongue

But it's a WMV and I don't know exactly where the actual movie is, I keep getting it streamed, I look at the playlist and turn it into a .txt file, but I keep going in circles.. can someone tell me how to download the streaming content? huh

Any help greatly appreciated yes

(posted this in the OTF but forgot my explination, nobody replied anyway, so here's this thread)

Thanks for the program, that's half the battle... now I tried the URL, it says it's playing, but no sound or video comes up... I read the Readme and I don't see anything I have to configure for it to work... do I need to do something else?

ace mega codec pack...about 40 megs. install it...it should have everything you could possibly need....codec-wise smile

From what I remember, it displays the video without sound while its streams and writing the file.

Are you sure its not writing anything?
