Alien in theaters

Wicked. I just read that Alien is being released in theaters soon. This is awesome. Does anyone know if this is the same restored footage as the laserdisc or if it will be released in IMAX DMR?

It was toted in the preview I saw as 'Alien: The Directors Cut'
No idea if its the same one that was in the 4-disc set of all the movies or not. Said its going to have extended footage, etc, etc.
I remember my father taking me to see this, scared the bejebers out of me (for a 10yr old).
No idea on IMAX, etc.
