We taped it off the Disney Channel when I was a kid, and I must have watched it 100 times (though I usually started getting bored following the pogrom). So enamored was I with the songs, though, that the second CD I ever bought was the original Broadway cast recording, which featured Zero Mostel as Tevye; I didn't like him as much as Topol, though. Also, I could have sworn that was Bea Arthur as Yenta.
When I was about 21, I saw a college production of "Fiddler". Feh! Big mistake!
