Best Ashton Kutcher Movie?

I think the best Ashton Kutcher movie is definately The Butterfly Effect as it proves he's not just a pretty face and comedian, but that he has real talent and i can't wait to see him in more serious roles in the future but don't give up comedies though.

When you look at the pictures he's been in, all of them except for The Butterfly Effect are teeny-bopper junk, which is about as exciting a movie as a documentary on someone's adventures after overdosing on Exlax at the breakfast table.

He needs to stick with a movie formula that is effective, IMO.

I think the Butterfly Effect would've been good without him, it was just a good overall movie and story. Let me rephrase that. The director's cut of The Butterfly Effect was great, the theatrical release was shit. I'm sick of these typical happy Hollywood endings.

Anyway, the director's cut of B-Effect was terrific. And I have to admit, I'm not a fan of Kutcher, but that movie made me give him a lot of credit as an actor. He did a great job on that one.

There was hardly any difference, but the DC ending was a hell of a lot more entertaining.

There were more small pieces that were cut out from the theatrical version that led up to the ending. If you weren't looking for them, you probably wouldn't notice them. I would recommend watching it again. I saw the DC before the theatre version. Needless to say, I was very disappointed when I saw the BS happy ending.

It was a tie for me, btw Butterfly Effect and A Lot Like Love. He's not the best actor, really.

I would tell you what happens at the end of the DC version, but I don't want to ruin it for anyone that hasn't seen it and might want to. wink

I'll just throw a small spoiler... Someone dies at the end of the DC version that does not die at the end of the theatrical version. The fact that someone dies isn't the surprise, but its how the person dies. Also, there are scenes earlier in the flick that lead to this conclusion that weren't really apparent till you see the end. Then you start thinking, "That's why that happened," type of thing. I enjoyed the DC version, but when I saw the theatrical, I was really disappointed. I think the people that saw it in the theatres got the shaft.

I will probably not have the chance to get the DC (if it is published in Germany anyway) that'S why you could use the spoiler tags...or pm me....I am curious.....

Bardock42,

I sent you a PM with some of the details of the DC ending. I didn't do it justice, I know. It's better if you see it.
