There REALLY needs to be a BR3. I can't for the life of me figure out why they haven't done one yet! The fan base is big, not huge, but big and rights should be easy to get if you set it in america with american kids killing eachother, I mean considering how they portray america in BR2 it seems like they wouldn't mind. Someone write a script! . no wait! i'll write one here you go:

not in the US but maybe over here their are several places where it can be bought. And in favour of BR3 maybe it should Japanese students Vs Amercian ones but they've also got to defeat each other as well.
You could clearly see that BR 2 had dropped in quality, so it's possible that a third one could be outright horrible. If they did it right though I would love it
The original director died during the start of BR2 his son took over thats why the quality dropped.
Did anyone else hate the tag team aspect that was added to the movie personally i thought it sucked and showed how stuck for ideas they had become to kill half the class of in the first 10 mins of the beach assualt. It was great the first time round the whole movie is but after watching it a few times you can really see how the film is let down.
There was also talk of a tv show but nothing came off it.
They could easily make sequels on the subject cause it's such a simple idea and you could have different classes and lead characters every time it's just alot of people grew towards shuya would probably dislike the movie if he wasn't in it somehow or someway.
An international BR would of been some funny stuff. They really shouldn't americanise it but unfortunely they are anyway.
That would be cool.
Battle Royal was planned to have a remake I heard. Never got into the buzz about it. But I guess enough people didn't like the idea of 9th Graders killing eachother.
Definately don't need to add more though. Remakes would be okay, but nothing to add.

In my opinion both the pictures were excellent though the second one Battle Royale 2 was not of the rank of Battle Royale 1.I love to see the Battle Royale 3.
I really liked the book, but the movie didn't capture the same images as I had when I read it. Suppose that's to be expected, but Shogo Kawada's movie version had particularly high amounts of fail.
Maybe if they do 3rd one as a kind of remake (ala Evil Dead 2), with more of a horrible suspense and more dangerous-looking bad guys (could really do that with an American version >> ), it could be a good movie...
The book was extremely badass. Shinji Mimura is where it's at.
The first movie was good. Lots of the deaths were changed and so there was little character development.
Second one was ridiculous and downright bad. The Teacher - Takeuchi i think was his name. Was just so dumb. And the main kid was just constantly pissed! Constantly! It was ridiculous!
