I'm happy for Volver, and The Departed. Babel was just awful, maybe Inarritu should try something new one of these days. It's somehow in the lead with seven nominations, too.

And once again, some of the best performances of the year are nowhere to be found, i.e. Ryan Gosling in Half Nelson and Hugh Jackman in The Fountain.

Hellen mirren will win for sure. The best movie it will be between babel, the queen and the departed. Forest whitaker for best actor. Nicholson for supporting actor and Cate Blanchett for best supporting. Im not sure about the rest.
