Alvin and The Chipmunks
I'm actually looking forward to this movie.
After seeing the trailer (not for the first time) on television yesterday, it dawned on me that they actually look like little chipmunks in this movie, as opposed to looking like little white deformed human beings as they did in the cartoons.
It dawned on me that they never really did look like chipmunks at all in the cartoons. Look at Chip 'N Dale. They were Chipmunks.
I don't know what Alvin, Simon and Theodore were, but they're finally Chipmunks now. (Appearance Wise)
And I think the transition to more realistic CG Chipmunks is rather seamless, being that when I first saw the trailer, I accepted these newly designed CG Characters as Alvin and The Chipmunks.
Of course I wouldn't have minded if they had kept with the original design and just made that CG as well. (Don't know how that would have worked though in the real world)
Can't wait for this movie. I'm pretty sure I'll see it in theaters.
Justin Long is the voice of Alvin.
Matthew Gray Gubler is the voice of Simon and....
Jesse McCartney is the voice of Theodore.
Was kind of put off at first that Jesse McCartney was doing the voice of Theodore, being that it seems Theodore will be my favorite, but whatever.
Won't ever be seeing it, hate bloody animation movies.
