Favorite Hitchcock film?

If you could only pick one of the great mans films which would it be?

For me it would have to be Strangers on a Train.

Don't like Hitchcock... I've only seen The Birds and Psycho though.

Snakeeyes - you have to see more.

The Lady Vanishes is my all time favourite Hitchcock film.

Well, I found Psycho and The Birds extremely ineffective if their intent was to scare or thrill me in any way. Maybe they were effective at the time they were made/released, but now they're just dated and laughable, imo.

In that case then I don't think you will enjoy any of his work.

SnakeEyes try:

The Lady Vanishes
Marnie
Frenzy
Dial M For Murder
Strangers on a Train
Rebecca
Rear Window
The Man Who Knew Too Much(the Doris Day version)

Family Plot is one I enjoy, but a lot don't seem to. Same for Torn Curtain.

Rope is also worth seeing for the really long takes.
