We can simply compare their handling of an identical terrorist attack, a subway bombing. Let's observe:

Clearly Jack is able to achieve the task with far less collateral and structural damage, and this is immediately after 20 months of nonstop Chinese torture AND Islamic terrorist torture. After this Jack proceeds to stop multiple nuclear bombings and WWII, whereas McClane bumbles around NYC stopping some gold robbers with strawberry jam bombs who only are defeated because they leave McClane to escape AND give him evidence of their whereabouts, whereas the opponents Jack face instakill any witness (and in some cases their families) who knows even a shred of their plan. McClame could never hope to match Bauer even if he trained for a hundred years nonstop and took the Captain America Super Soldier Serum. Jack is just too OP, an invincible character like Jobu Tupaki or Doctor Manhattan. He's the ultimate badass, McClane can only hope to lick the bottom of his boots, and there is nothing you or he can do about it..Sorry bud
