are there any nc-17 movies out there?

are there any nc-17 movies out there?
besides showgirls, and are decent?
i know they can't advertise them, but what's the point of having them when most movies are going to get a "not rated" rating.
just wanted to find out.

see KIDS it came out in the late 1990's and there was some controversy about it. Parents hated it.

Full of Darkness andanger, they were, and sometimes you didnt want to know the end because how could the end be happy. How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad happened... but in the end its only a passing thing. The Shadow even darkness will pass. A new day WILL come. And when the sun shines it will shine out clearer. Those are the stories that stay with you and meant something. Even if you were too small to understand why. But, I think, Mr. Frodo, i do understand... iknow now. Folk in those stories have a lot of chances to turn back, but they didnt. They kept going because they were holding on to something!
FRODO: What are we holding onto, Sam?
Sam: That theres some good in this world, Mr Frodo and its worth fighting for.

It was supposed to be sick and disturbing, a kind of wake-up call to society, but most people didn't want to believe those kinds of things could happen.

Didn't they? Semeed bloody obvious to me, and none of it was done with any insight or, as far as I could see, purpose.

Rave is pretty good its mainly nc-17 for all the drug use, if you want the gran daddies of nc-17 movies seek out faces of death, i dont know but is there even an nc-17 rating because you have to be 18 for R movies why not just make it R

KIDS was about drugs, violence, teen sexual behavior including rape, and HIV. KIDS I don't think was meant to be a good movie, but meant to be an eye opener for people who think kids don't have sex or do drugs or they can't get sexually transmitted diseases or they can't be violent.

And NC-17 means no one under 17 can see the movie which is not the same as R where anyone under 17 can see it as long as they are accompianied by an adult. That might be why the ticket taker wouldn't let you see the movie KidRock. I believe the theater could get in trouble for you not being accompanied by an adult. I believe the ratings require a physical presence there, legally.
