 Lost- Main Character???
Ok, So I was thinking about this yesterday....
Does Lost have a 'Central Character'? Like a main character that the story/show is about?
I don't think so...
and I admire lost for beeing unique like that...
Nearly every other TV show I can think of has a 'main character'...
Smallvile has Clark
Alias has Sydney Bristow
24 has Jack
But Lost has SOOO many wonderful, amazing complex characters, I think it works out so great, to switch to each characters own unique story each episode.
Unless, the 'main character' is the ISLAND itself
Which is a possibility, but I think the island itself has so much depth and 'personality' it's a character too. as much as Jack, Kate, Hurly, or Sawyer is.
Thoughts?

It depends on the way you see main character.
It has many main characters cause you see alot of different peoples stories from b4 they were lost.
But the island's 'secret' is what gets a majority of the people interested & waiting for the next episode.
But then within the story Jack is the un-proclaimed leader, so that sorta make him above the other characters.
anyway, I just like to watch lost, not analyse it.

At the beginning I'd say Jack, but now Kate.

I think the hole thing is is that they do not have just one person they focus on. It is one reason I like the show so much but, I guess you could say Jack is the main charterer.
