How should Padme die?

If Padme dies at all, that is. (Well, obviously she dies, but we don't know if she does it in the movie.)

Personally, I think that she should die giving birth to Luke and Leia. If someone else kills her, then Anakin's rage would eventually subside. But if he's raging against the universe, and has no one at which to direct his rage...*vader breathing noises*

none of the above. presumed dead and dying sometime between 3 and 4 would suit me just fine. I just don't see Anakin doing it, but, had I not known he was to be Vader, I might have been a little shocked that he slaughtered all those tuskens too.

This is not one of my favourite topics but...I agree with Mephisto...obviously she dies between Ep3-Ep4...I'd rather she wasn't killed in Ep3.

However...if she HAS to die on screen, I would rather she died during childbirth. I would hate to see her killed by the Jedi ((Good or Evil)) and ESPECIALLY not Anakin...her own husband.

yeah i think anakin will mistakenly kill her... by like aiming the force at someone and miis and kill her... lol

Yup! but lucas is such an ass that he will say that she remembered her because of the force... she will die giving birth... how stupid... And with all the technollogy those days... they cant save her... throw me a freaking bone here.

I think she will kill herself to save her children. Probably her ship will crash into the Golden Gate Bridge.

You're assuming that she goes into labor on Coruscant or something...what if she gives birth in the middle of the Tatooine Desert?

However, I will admit that Leia's memories are the one thing that could throw a hitch into the plan. The question is, does she remember her own mother, or Bail Organa's wife?

Yeah, but the reason I don't like that theory is because his anger and rage would subside into remorse, like after he killed the Tusken Raiders. It's only if she dies in a way he can't stop that his anger can be directed against EVERYTHING.

Plus if Luke asks her that, it means that he was refering to his own mother, thus Padme. He knew Leia was adopted and so did she. So he and she knew that REAL mother meant their biological mother.

Padme shouldnt die in EP III or else the timeline will be messed up because Leia remembers her. We already know she dies thanks to that ROTJ scene, so she doesent realy need to die in Episode III. Maybe they can tell us in the film that she will die shortly due to a heart break or something, leaving a bit of time for Leia to remember her by.
