Set Diary - Fragments of Action
The next one is up
heres the little fragment they post:
Today's schedule is dominated by little bits and pieces -- not full scenes, but instead individual shots that have been worked out in animatic or videomatic form. Prior to set-up, Director George Lucas is able to pull up video playback of low-rez 3-D animation or placeholder shots made from tweaking existing footage, and explain exactly to the crew what it is we're trying to capture.
The first pieces shot today are a new sequence of Anakin running to a Jedi speeder, lowering its canopy, and blazing across the sky to his destination. Upon arrival, he springs out of the cockpit, and continues his dash.
