Anikin and the hand cutting incident

Did anikin accidentally or purposely cut off mace windu's hand?

LOL!!

Good one Yerssot! It was on purpose, I'm sure. He's a Jedi! How can he ever take Mace's hand off by accident???
However, I think that the fact that he had to decide whether to support Mace or Sidious in a matter of seconds (BIG pressure) made him react like that and cut off Windu's hand.

In the special edition DVD release, Mace will swing first, therefore making Anakin still look like a good guy... and destroying the scene immediately after.
