Shaak Ti - What Happened To Her?

Whatever happened to Shaak Ti? I heard she was going to be the main charrie of the Series Lucas is releasing but Im not sure. I also heard they were going to make Greivous kill her but then took it out. And we dont see her in Ep3 so I wasnt sure. I know shes not really important but Ive become fond of her character lol I thought she was great on Clone wars. (Just watched it all)
