Ki-Adi-Mundi: is Anakin a rip-off of him?

ROTS states that every person that is appointed to the Jedi Council (before Anakin was) as a Knight receives the authority of a Master effective immediately. TPM Visual Dictionary states that Ki-Adi-Mundi is the only Council member not made into a Master. What's right in that?

No, it's just one of many of Luca's mistakes in his laziness to check anything

It's George Lucas' Vision...it's not mentioned in the film that Ki-Adi-Mundi was a knight when he came to the council. So it's EU.

Then, canonically, Ki-Adi-Mundi became a Master as soon as he was appointed in the Council?

Anakin has a few traits of Ki-Adi-Mundi: he is courageous and he is married, for example. Ki-Adi-Mundi has four wives and at least seven children from them. Anakin has Padmé and two children from her. Any other common trait with him?

Ki-Adi-Mundi only has those because the Cereans have a low birthrate...or something silly like that.

In any case, Ki-Adi-Mundi was a great deal older than Anakin was when he was put on the Council. A GREAT deal...he was an old man before he became a Master.

Niiiiiice.

Low enough, TJ. Must be said, he had 7 kids...he needed 4 wives, though.

This is pretty simple- KAM was given a lot of backstory by the EU, which was then promptly blown out of continuity by GL.

Often happens.

How many of the 11 people (4 wives, 7 children) are Jedi?

None of them are Jedi.

And for once, I agree with Janick. GL just works on what he creates, not what others create for him.
