Story/Timeline to date:
Worldwide crime is at an alltime low, however it still exsists. Groups of ex-crooks, mercenaries mixed in with government agents scan the globe to find and ultimately catch the remaining criminals that span all over the globe, as you would be able to understand this would be no easy task.
For those inside the gaol, things are anything but pleasant. As one of the most sophisticated holding and gaol facilities in the world, the staff of the complex have a really difficult job set for them in keeping such a high standard of constant security, most of the well known crims both small time and largely known are kept here.

Sittin on a harshly weathered bench in the outdoor area of the correctional facility, Alana Mir was a small figure in amongst a mountain of men. As head of the Blacks of the facility she held sway over all that happened between the other gangs and her own.
A mountain of a man approached her and the small group of 'protectors' let him through. Leaning down to whisper a few coded words to the woman, the man then left once the message had been delivered and greeted his companions who sat around the second bench to the leaders left.
Alana's features where remotely cold and had always been so when contemplating. A glance to a shuttered window and a small gleam in her eye, she knew the warden was watching so she stifled the urge to call to one of her boys to complete an action. It'd have to wait until later, perhaps a day or even more but inside, patience was key.
Warden Courtney stood facing the shuttered window, glancing over his muscled shoulder as the door to his office closed and a heavy weight moved into one of the chairs beyond his desk and made themselves comfortable. His voice was husky from the cigar that now rested expended in the ashtray of his desk yet the thick aroma still hung within the air of the office. It was a moment before he addressed his head guard, "This new woman seems to have made an impression on a the blacks in the facility. Keep an eye on her will you Ian? The last thing we need right now is more trouble."
[[TAG ALL, NB: Most prisoners will be outside in the yards or in their cells etc...if you're a staff member then post being on guard or following your particular duties.]]
Alana's eyes flittered from face to face. Registering each in her exceptional mind and keeping an eye on their body language it wasn't long before she had tabs on each person walking around the yard. One in particular.
An evenly preportioned white man who'd been keeping himself separate from the rest of the prisoners. He was no doubt a loner and he looked comfortable with it. Alana kept in mind to make contact with this man...or find out about him. Either way, she could have heavy use for a loner in these walls.
Alex Leaned his back against the wall. Thinking to himself and occasionally Glancing around keeping an eye on people and Sizing them up...Looking for any sign of weakness that he may have to use against them later on.
He had been Studying the entire Place Calmly and Smoothly as not to appear Suspicious to any of the guards. Figuring out exactly how everything and everyone works....

James Auvil sat in the courtyard of the jail, lighting a cigarette, and, as her took a long drag, surveyed the strengths and weaknesses of the facility.
Sean smiled slightly and took a manilla folder from his desk and tapped it with a free finger, "Here's her official file. I want you to memorise it just as I have. When you're done, get back here and have a report scrawled up...if anything does happen I want to be ready."
"Yes, sir." With this, Ian made his way out of the room and walked to his own, smaller, office. Sitting down at his desk and turning his lamp on, he began to read over the file...
Reagan found herself wondering aimlessly around the fenced in yard, her eyes roaming from insignificant face to another. As innocent as she may have looked, Reagan was picking up coded information and trying to find anything that might spike her interest. It seemed almost unnatural for her to want to know so much about almost each and every individual, but it was her need of survival, want to be free, and it stopped her from rash attempts to escape. Reagan prided herself in her expertise of eavesdropping, finding and very helpful and something to keep her occupied.
The other female, Alana, soon caught her attention as some sort of message was obviously brought to her. Reagan leaned against a nearby wall, ignored the obnoxious cat calls and obscene language from a few men, and kept her fierce icy eyes on Alana and the gang that surrounded her. She knew alliance was the key here, yet trust would be even better. But Alana was head of the blacks. Reagan, white. It might not work out just how she thought it would. Still, Reagan could easily prove herself useful to anyone. Small and runty she may look, the information she obtains on a daily basis is sure to be useful to the guards if anyone.
It was the reek of cigarette smoke that she still hadn't grown used to that snapped her into reality. She turned her attention slowly in the scents direction, finding herself facing an older, well older than her, white man. If she wasn't mistaken, this was the white's leader, James Auvil. Of course Reagan knew his name, that was the easy part of her 'job'. Fascinating though, she thought. In the presence of two race's leaders nothing but a mess was sure to come out of this.
[Lex laid back on a bench and started to left weights he was surrounded by his gang so to speak. He felt safe for the most part but he could never be sure in this jail he came to know as "Home". Lex pushed the weights up and a man bigger then Lex put it on the hocks. Lex sat up he was sweating now and held his hand out for a towel as he slowly wiped the sweat off his face he looked around the yard.]

[John Triton walked with ease as he made his way to the Worden's office. He knocked hard and waited for something to happen. He was a new officer at this facility and was told to see the Worden. As he stood there he could not help but compare the marines to being a correctional office. Being a marine was hard this while this was going to be a walk in the park or so he thought.]
Alana's eyes flicked from that of the loner to a runty looking younger woman then to a 'overly superior' looking white man. A small snarl crossed her features, she knew exactly who the man was and if he even looked at her the wrong way, he'd pay for it.
Sean heard the quick but precise knock on his door and looked up from his computer, a slight brow raised as he stubbed out yet another cigar, "Enter." He stated gruffly and waited to see who was behind the door.
[John opened the door and walked in the Warden's office when he walked in he saluted him.]"Worden Sean Courtney I am John Triton and I am the newest guard assigned to this penitentiary"[John slowly put his hands at his sides but he stood in a upright position waiting to hear the Worden's instructions.]

Alex pushed up away from the wall looking around. He could feel the tension between the Whites and the Blacks in the yard. He expected an ''explosion'' to happen between them any time now. He started calmly walking around the Yard once again still scanning for any weaknesses in security's defense. For if a riot was to break out it would be the perfect distraction for him to slip through the cracks and make his escape.
Gonzales sat hunched over, craning his neck and bobbing his head in excitement of the impending brawl between the two different races.
He and his men behind him currently occupied the outdoor exercise area, even though very few were using the equipment, the other inmates knew not to come to use the equipment today as the Latinos were very territorial. The infamous gang was well known to start these fights but they were actually reputed for being quiet and laid back in the last few months, in reality they too were looking to both time the guards responses and gaps in the security that may open during the inevitable melee. These so-called Riots happened nearly every fortnight, the guards were already on alert for whatever might happen.

Alana nodded to one of her 'boys' and the man left the group to go back inside, most likely to retrieve something from his cell. Or maybe, to just go to the bathroom.
Sean remained silent for only a moment as he closed the file he was reviewing and placed in a draw in his desk. He then relit his cigar and sat back in his chair taking a draw of it before speaking, "Tell me John, why did you request a position here? I would of thought you would have preferred a placing with one of the teams that bring these kind of crims in, instead of babysitting them."
Alex, Still walking calmly through the yard grew quite impatient waiting on something to happen... he walked up beside what appeared to be another loner. The guy seemed to be a strong fella, Alex remembered some of the guards talking about that guy being a Convicted Rapist....He despised Rapists...
"F**k It!!" Alex said Surprising the man as he pull his arm back behind his back and jerking upward shattering some bones in the man's forearm, He then quickly dropped low to the ground and did a sweeping kick taking out the mans ankles causing him to fall to the ground in pain.
Alex stood up with a sinister grin looking around at all the people watching him and waiting for a guard's response.
He didn't regret what he did, this gave him more rep with the prisoners.
He figured they would throw him in solitary confinement for his actions...that would give him a chance to see more of the prison when they dragged him off and put him in there.

A shrill whistle sounded from one of the watch towers and within moments the yard was interrupted by two teams of guards. One lot took to the rapist and the other team to Alex. Taking him down swiftly with a punch to the gut, the leader of the second team cuffed Alex up and let his team mates take the prisoner away to confinement. He glanced over his shoulder and nodded to the second team leader who helped carry the rapist off to the medical bay for treatment.
Alana smiled as she watched all this 'go down'. The loner was smart, she knew what was running through this mans head and she liked the way he thought. She kept it in mind to 'bump into him' sometime.
Up in the office, Sean heard the rucus and lazily got out of his chair. Checking that the situation was under control he kept in mind to request a full report on the proceedings current and future for the actions to be taken against the perps. He smiled over his shoulder at the newbie, "Pity you just missed out on what could have been your first bit of action here son." He chuckled gruffly and took another long drag of his cigar before letting the cheap venetian blinds snap closed infront of him.
Alex Showed no signs of struggle against the guards, He thought about taking them down aswell but...He just decided to let things play out. this would give him time to think and mastermind a strategy. He observed as much of the facility as he could while the guards were taking him to confinement.
