Grainy Picture

I have a blu ray player with recent movies and a 1080p TV.

Image quality in HD from Sky TV channels is perfect, but from the Blu Rays is grainy.

Also in the past this would happen with high quality DVDs. I wonder why is that?

I find this mostly happens on stuff that WAS ANALOGUE and digitally converted for DVD/BLURAY and not cleaned up.......

I love VHS and it happens alot there also and I dont like it at all!

WHY CANT THEY LEAVE IT ANALOG?? -- I GOT A MOVIE ONE TIME "VON RYANS EXPRESS" it was the first 1977 MAGNETIC VIDEO release..... IT WAS SO GRAINY IT WAS UNWATCHABLE!! (The digital brings up the details 10 fold)

If they had left it analogue, hardily any grain would be seen!!

I do not like digital really @ all....... In my opinion so many movies, etc have been ruined by this garbage since the mid 70s and its sad......
