xmen and star trek comparissons

I see a lot in common with these two franchises.

of course we have patric stewart who played the captain in new generation and also played xavier the xmens leader.

Ryker and cyclops seem to act a lot alike.Plus they both are (or where)
married to women with telepathy.
I think their parents had something in common too.

Star trek and xmen also had a crossover.

does anyone else ever think of this?

Well hello! If u consider that both star trek the orignal series and x-men have a DR. MCCOY something in common then yes, (even more) lot's in common.
Oh and the leader having the hots for aliens (kirk-Xavier).
And doesn't someone in tng have a visor or sumting?

The book with the alien planet in the Trek U is "Planet X". It was OK for a book of its time. Whedon could've whipped up something cooler.
