Built in weaponry, including plasma cannon (which would damage the T1000)
Nanotechnology, though she could barely control a T850, so it is unknown whether she could control the more advanced T1000
T1000 advantages:
Resistant to all damage except for thermal and corrosive attacks (which the T-X is capable of dishing out.)
Basically if the T-Xs right arm gets destroyed it will be the T1000 that wins. If the T-X keeps her arm long enough to use her weapons, then the T-X will be victorious.
I kinda think the T-1000 might be able to pull thru with a win against the T-X. Considering it took a lot more effort for Arnie to dispose of the T-1000 compared to the T-X.
All Arnie has to do is ram a helicopter into the T-X and she's pretty much down for the count. Stuff a hydrogen fuel cell down her throat and she's KOed.
The T-1000 on the other proved to be ruthless and relentless. Bullets, cars, trucks, freezing etc. didn't stop him.

The T-X face every trial that the T1000 did except the freezing. And as for having more trouble beating the T1000? No. In T3, the Terminator effectively killed himself by removing his final fuel cell. He was running on fumes at that point and it was a last ditch effort to kill her. While he was more battered in T2 (the T800 is obviously structurally and physically weaker than the T850) He survived and could have continued to operate.
The fact is that the T-X, story-wise could defeat the T1000. Her plasma cannon is what makes the victory so clear cut. In the future, the humans are almost on even terms with the machines because the weaponry is so much more advanced. I believe it was stated in the novel that the T-X dispatched several T1000s as a test before being sent back in time.
Interestingly enough if you reverse the roles of the characters then John would have been killed. The T1000 wouldn't have been trapped underneath the helicopter and the TX would have never been blown back to the edge of the walkway by Sarah's shotgun. Sure Terminator would have knocked her back a little bit with the grenade launcher (according to T3's movie physics, in real life nothing would blow her back because the impact of a weapon is actually less then the felt recoil of the shooter. In other words, by real life physics, the T1000 shouldn't have been pushed back by shotgun blasts at all, but whatever...) but that was Terminator's last shot. (He actually had about three more left, but they mysteriously disappeared. Usually characters are portrayed with less ammo then they have, but Terminator started with ten or so grenades and only fired six or seven shots in the movie.)
Sure the T-X disposed of a few T-1000's in the future, but we must remember when she goes back in time, there are no T-1000's to worry about, only the humans and Arnie. And in that case, the T-1000 is much better equipped for the job.
In the context, the T-1000 was in fact superior to the T-X.
yes it was in the beckett comics, and it beat the t1000 very very easily. so i wont regard comics as a good source, but on a one on one battle i easilly favor the tx. but sending on a mission like killing john connor, wr all know who has the edge. t1000
i think the T-X has the advantage when they fought the t-1000 at least they could slow it down enough to do something to it, but when they fought the T-X only rockets and grenades seemed to even slow her down at best, only the helicopter falling on her hurt her and i think it was only cause of so much damn battering she had to go through, if the t-1000 had been in that magnet thing like in the movie i dont think it could have escaped at all, and its weapons are not able to cause as much mass destruction or instant death with the kind of weapons she has, she has the long range advantage if she wanted to she could kill them for 100's of years away while the t-1000 would have to be up close and personal, also the t-1000 if it loses enough mass it will begin to mess up.
The hell? It is a KNOWN fact that the 1000 is more advanced than TX. No her plasma cannon will have T-1000 down for a few seconds...and even then 1000 is FASTER than TX. 1000 has also hinted much smarter moves, and therefore will go for that plasma immediately. T-1000 will continue to reform, and it's battery can last for years. 1000 WILL beat TX down, simply because of it's advanced healing. Don't matter how much attacks TX will dish out, TX will fall to 1000.
T-1000 is the most advanced out of them all.
Nevertheless, the 800 models still own all of them lol.
