Halloween Remake!!
Looking on KMC, I found the following article regarding a remake of a cult classic.

It would appear that Rob Zombie is taking the reigns from great John Carpenter.

wtf, not another ****in prequel or one of those the beginning storys. The Halloween series is already completely ****ed up, this is coming from the biggest halloween fan of all time, and they need to make a movie where they explain the connection of 1,2,4,5,6,7 and 8, because right now it goes 1,2,7 and 8, youll understand what im saying if you are a halloween fanatic like myself
dude there are already 2 halloween threads on the new movie.but anyways getting to what boogeyman saidYeah thanks to that last crappy Halloween Resuurection movie,this movie series is already ****ed up.They ruined it by not ending it like they should have with Halloween H20.They should have just had that be Michael Myers and she realy did slash his head off and just end the whole damn thing there.But they had to go and make a crappy sequal to it with him Killing her-a huge cardinal sin and the last one already made it an unsatisfying ending with him opening up his eyes in the hospital showing us he is still alive. 😠 at least continue it from there to let us know what happened after that. 😠
i suppose pumas. Anyways yeah man-spider i totalyy agree with everything you said. Although I'm sort of happy they didnt end it with h20 but ressurection should have connected 1 to 2 to 4 to 5 to 6 to 7, instead of how it is now with h20 being made like 4 5 and 6 never even happened, if we watch h20 they act like jamie doesn't even exist and that totally pisses me off , because when me and "the guys" watch the whole series on halloween it doesnt even make any sense. Anyways thats what 8 should have been, a conncection of the whole series and maybe even end it there, instead they confuse everyone even more by having him open his eyes, and now hall9ween isn't even gunna pick up from there?!?! wtf!?
Ok so about this whole Halloween remake.....for one if your a real Halloween fan then you should have read that this isnt going to be a remake but a reimaging a diffrent look at an already great movie. You would also read that not only is Rob Zombie directing it John Carpenter plans on helping the directing and writing of the movie. Remakes are not a bad thing sumtimes there one of the greatest movies. Look at John Carpenters The Thing its a F***ing remake and its great. So for all you people who just spit out there opinions! you need to do your homework on movies before you make your self look stupid.

Being a huge Halloween and Michael Myers fan myself, there is a lot of bad feelings that I have when I look back and see how this series has gone.
Halloween and Halloween II were absolutely perfect, for they created terror and suspence. John Carpenter was a God and knew how to scare the living daylights out of us.
Then came Halloween III - Season of the Witch. Where in the heck did this come from. At no time did this even come close to a sequel to the Michael Myers storyline, and it is just a sore spot for any fan.
Then you have the junk sequels from there.
Halloween IV - The Return of Michael Myers
Halloween V - The Revenge of Michael Myers
Halloween VI - The curse of Michael Myers
They brought in a new mask, made Michael seem not that scary anymore, and added his neice to the mix??? Oh yeah, let us not forget that they actually put him behind bars, though he was broken out by the man in black. Not to mention bringing back Tommy Doyle( OMG, where they grabbing for straws??? )
Halloween H20 would have been the appropriate place to end this story, as Laurie finally gets her revenge and kills the Brother that has been trying to kill her for the past 20 years, though as with any slasher series, we all knew deep down it was not going to be the last we heard of Michael. The only thing wrong with this film, was that it was taken from Haddonfield IL, to California????
Halloween Resurrection - Certainly not the answer we fans were hoping for. Although they returned us to Haddonfield, the blantent misuse of information that was tried to pass to us from H20 to this movie was absolutely absurd. We all saw Michael die and now we are lead to beleive that he avoided the entire incident? And not only that, but his house has become host to a web show???
So now that leads us to Halloween 9. Rob Zombie, saying that he will have a fresh viewpoint in making this film, plans on keeping that which John Carpenter worked so hard in achieving. I for one, as a fan, will give this movie a chance. I hated seeing Michael die, no matter how silly the movies had become. He states that this will not be a remake, but taken us further into Michael's world.
Give it a chance and let us hope for the best. At least that way we can put behind us all the crap that we have had to deal with!
