2 questions...

Well, 2 questions about some "happenings" on the movies...

1-on the end of episode 3 yoda told obi-wan (or obiwan dont know how to write it right..)that he could meet an old friend, qui-gon, when does this happens?

2-what happenned to obiwan at episode 4, vader cut him or not? he just disapeared, since i know the force dont give the power to teleport, please im confused about those things.

thanks in advance.

1 answer - Yoda taught Obi Wan how to channel the force to communicate with Qui-Gon to become one with the force after death. Obi Wan learned how to do this while hiding on Tatooine Lucas was suppose to have a scene where Qui-Gon appears to Yoda and teach him how to do it. but it never happened in Ep III

2 - answer - Vader did not cut down Obi Wan in Episode 4. When Obi Wan saw that he could not escape from Vader he gave himself up and became one with the force. Watch carefully, Obi Wan looks at Luke, smiles, stands up right, and closes his eyes. Vader hits his cloak, but he disappears becoming one with the force.

Yeah, the disappearing act was in the first movie ever made, so Lucas has an excuse, to test out this piece of story.

no if you watch it his robes stay intact. for a long time i thought vader actually cut through him but when i rewatched ep4 atleast the dvd version he disapperaed like a milisecond right before vader's blade gets to him. i think george did it because he made yoda just disappear too. but i could be mystaken.

He thought it'd just be a neat way for OB1 to go. I mean, would anybody want to see Alec Guiness, one of the most respected actors in history, lieing in a heap on the floor?

They even trade lightsabers and Obi-Wan's lightsaber becomes a light-banana.

And what happened to his lightsaber mid-duel? It just kind of goes out like a dead flame and he flicks at Vader's a few times as if trying to relight it.
